  • Suitability Review (SDR), Language
  • Literacy and Numeracy assessment

Fees and Funding

As a Jobs and Skills WA funded provider, eligible students may access subsidised training under:

  • Fee Free 
    Eligible students may be able to enrol in this course at no cost under the Fee Free initiative. This means tuition fees are completely covered by the WA Government, making it easier than ever to get qualified for in-demand business roles.
  • Lower fees, Local Skills
    If you don’t qualify for Fee Free, you may still be eligible for significantly reduced course fees under the Lower Fees, Local Skills initiative. This WA Government program helps make vocational education more accessible for everyone—reducing the cost of training in high-demand industries.

Units of Study

To be awarded the Certificate III in Retail, 13 units must be completed consisting of:

  • 8 core units
  • 5 elective units
SIR30216 Units

You may be able to complete your qualification sooner through formal recognition of your existing skills. This is known as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

To receive RPL, we assess your previous work, education and life experiences against recognised qualifications. Applications for RPL can be made prior to enrolling.

If the RPL application is successful, you will be given credits towards your course (meaning you may not have to complete all the units to gain this qualification).
