Perth’s Leading Training Provider
So, you’ve made the decision to start studying. NIOT is here to help you achieve your goals, whether this is your first or next career.
We recognise how difficult it can be to pick a vocational training provider in Perth, so we’ve highlighted some of the things that make us unique. We’ve narrowed it down to four key reasons: pricing, training location, mode of delivery, and our trainers. Continue reading to learn why NIOT might be your best option.
Cost
NIOT is proud to be a Skills Ready Training Provider. This means we are approved to deliver training and assessment services funded by the Western Australian Government to meet the needs of students, industry, and the economy. There are strict eligibility criteria that each student will need to meet for all funded qualifications which include our supply chain courses, aged care courses, and childcare courses.
This means that our students are not left with debt when they graduate.
Training Locations
NIOT has campuses right across Perth to give you every opportunity to enrol in and complete a course. Our study locations are in Maddington, Kenwick and Gosnells.
These locations are purpose-designed to suit the requirements of each qualification, meaning that students receive practical training in a simulated work environment. As such, our students are prepared for the workforce and graduate being job-ready.
Mode of Delivery
There are a few things that set us apart when it comes to delivery.
Here at NIOT, our students benefit from individualised help and 1:1 attention in the classroom, as well as additional tutoring outside of the classroom. We are able to ensure that all students get the attention they deserve as our classes are capped at 15/20 students.
We focus on giving face-to-face education in addition to smaller class sizes, as we know that many students prefer it. Not only does this help motivate students to finish their classes, but it also allows for the above-mentioned extra support that is not necessarily available in virtual classes.
Our Trainers
All of our instructors have experience in the field they’re teaching, allowing them to share firsthand information and stories with their students. Many of our students benefit from these anecdotes because they help them further understand the material and make the connection on how it applies to the real world.
Our trainers and the rest of the team have built several industry relationships over the years, allowing us to offer specialised excursions and guest lecturers, both of which our students enjoy. Furthermore, because placement hosts trust the calibre of students coming into their facility from NIOT, our students can engage in placement at a pre-arranged facility and fully utilise the opportunity to practice their training. Many of our students, unsurprisingly, make such a strong impression during their placement that they are often given jobs at the facility.
In addition to these features, many of our 5-star reviews highlight the high quality of our trainers, which we wholeheartedly agree with!
“The classes have smaller groups which allows for more one on one time between the trainer and the student. It also allows for everyone to voice their answers, opinions and learn from others”.
Stephanie completed her CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with us in November 2021.
Finally, we recognise that we are only one of many education providers in Perth; nonetheless, we are sure that we meet the needs of our students, provide high-quality training, and ensure that students are job-ready upon completion of their course.
Everyone will have various needs when it comes to choosing a vocational training provider, so it is important that they research and find a provider that suits them.
