If you’re passionate about helping children grow, learn, and thrive, the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is your perfect starting point. This nationally recognised qualification equips you with the knowledge and hands-on skills to work confidently in early learning environments such as long day care, family day care, kindergartens, and preschool settings.
You’ll learn how to support children’s development, ensure health and safety, and create nurturing, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Entry Criteria

- Suitability Review (SDR),
- Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment
Students must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWC) or state equivalent, before participating in practical placement.
Fees and Funding
As a Jobs and Skills WA funded provider, we’re proud to offer the Certificate III in Business (BSB30120) under two major government-subsidised initiatives:
- Fee FreeÂ
Eligible students may be able to enrol in this course at no cost under the Fee Free initiative. This means tuition fees are completely covered by the WA Government, making it easier than ever to get qualified for in-demand business roles. - Lower fees, Local Skills
If you don’t qualify for Fee Free, you may still be eligible for significantly reduced course fees under the Lower Fees, Local Skills initiative. This WA Government program helps make vocational education more accessible for everyone—reducing the cost of training in high-demand industries.

Units of Study
To be awarded the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, 17 units must be completed consisting of:
- 15 core units
- 2 elective units
